As the European wind power industry quickly expands, demand for offshore wind foundations is currently increasing.  Bilfinger Mars Offshore is a Polish foundation manufacturer established to meet this growing need and to further develop new foundation designs demanded by the offshore wind market. As the official offshore panel partner at Wind Power Poland 2016 Bilfinger Mars Offshore, will briefly introduce the importance of the supply-chain in the offshore branch. In terms of offshore wind foundation supply, Bilfinger Mars Offshore will present one of Europe’s largest offshore wind supply chain investment, where 130 million Euro has been invested in the first  green field serial manufacturing facility for jacket foundations and transition pieces in Poland.

Panel “OFFSHORE WIND: a new industry” will be moderated by Wojciech Cetnarski, President of Board of Polish Wind Energy Association, during the first day of the Wind Power Poland 2016. Among discussion participants will be Ms. Marie Donnelly, Director for renewables, R&I and energy efficiency, DG Energy, European Commission.
