- Wind farms in Poland already exceed 5,000 MW of installed capacity. The increase in the number of turbines creates new opportunities for wind farm O&M providers.
- An Increasing number of turbines are nearing the end of warranty periods and standard 5-year OEM service periods.
- The increase in demand for additional services will also result from the introduction of a new RES support scheme in Poland, requiring more advanced methods and tools for wind resource analysis and better optimisation of wind farm operation.
- Banks are increasingly accepting the provision of wind farm O&M services from independent providers.
- Investors are becoming increasingly aware that traditional OEM maintenance is not always most optimal for energy producers. During Wind Power Poland 2016 wind farm O&M services will be discussed both by representatives of independent O&M providers and turbine manufacturers.
- Many investors are developing their own in-house wind farm O&M base, broadening opportunities for companies to work together.
